Meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month at 6:45 p.m. in Room 118 of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. No meetings are held in July or August, and our June and September meetings are typically potluck picnics at an alternate location. All visitors are welcome, whether local or out-of-town guests! Each meeting consists of a short business meeting, sharing of bird sightings, and a speaker. Refreshments and socializing also precede and follow each meeting.
Directions: To get to the Veterinary Medicine building from U.S. 129 (Alcoa Highway), take the Neyland Drive exit. Turn left onto Neyland Drive, then left at the traffic light onto Joe Johnson Drive and the UT Ag Campus. The Veterinary Medicine building is the large building on the right. At the next stop light, turn right onto E. J. Chapman Drive. Park in the large S66 lot on your right. Unless you are utilizing the handicapped parking, do not park in the lot directly in front of the building because you are likely to be ticketed or towed. Once parked, walk to the building facing Joe Johnson Drive. The meeting is held in the first floor classroom (room 118).
