Tennessee Bird Records Committee
The Tennessee Bird Records Committee (TBRC) of the Tennessee Ornithological Society maintains the Official Checklist of the Birds of Tennessee and insures that sightings of rare species are accurately and adequately documented for posterity. Documentation of evidence of new or rare species may be submitted to the committee for review and inclusion into the Tennessee database.
