Point Counts were conducted at Big Bald Mountain, Cherokee Wildlife Management Area, Hampton Creek Cove State Natural Area, and Unaka Mountain during the period 1993-2000. Counts were not consistently done each year at the various sites nor were the number of points covered the same number each year. Of the top 20 species, 13 species were neotropical migrants. The table below summaries the top twenty species on counts by relative abundance of individuals in the years 1993-2000.
