Coffee County: Arnold Air Force Base--Formerly 1-2 pairs of Bachman's Sparrows bred, but have not been present since 1998 (John Lamb, John.Lamb@arnold.af.mil). Statement made December 20, 2005.

McNairy County: June 15, 2002 (1 bird each at two separate location, one of them carrying food) Big Hill Pond, Jeff Wilson,   OLCOOT1@aol.com.

Montgomery County: Are present (as of summer 2005) in small numbers at Fort Campbell. Daniel Moss, dmoss5@earthlink.net, has documentation.

Wayne County: June 17, 2005 (1, singing) along California Branch Road, just east of the intersection with Railroad Bed-Iron City Road. The bird was found on the Collinwood BBS. "The route begins on Railroad Bed-Iron City Road and Thompson Hollow Road intersection, and the first few stops are in recent clear cut areas. After turning on California Branch Road, the clear-cutting activities pick up again just east of a few small farms. This entire areas has lots of Bachman's habitat, but I only had a singing bird at one stop (Damien Simbeck, TNbarredowl@aol.com.)"
