The Tennessee Ornithological Society will hold its annual Winter Meeting/Birding Weekend in the Camden, Tennessee area the weekend of February 21-23. The focus of the meeting is on birding, and there will be no formal business meeting.

Saturday, Feb. 22
0730 - Depart from the Days Inn for field trip to Big Sandy Unit, Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge. We will visit sites in the Britton Ford and Pace Point areas. In the early afternoon, we will meet with refuge staff for a guided tour and discussion of ongoing forest management activities designed to enhance habitat for forest interior songbirds.

Sunday, Feb. 23
0730 - Depart from the Days Inn for field trip to Duck River Unit, Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge. During this field trip, we will meet with refuge staff for a tour and discussion of ongoing waterbird management activities.
